LIGHTHOUSE KENNELS
Jason owns and operates Lighthouse Kennels in Cambria, WI. With over two dozen field championships to his credit, Jason has been working with Spaniel breeds and competing in field trials since the early 1990s. Since 2000 he has consistently made the Spaniel field trial top 10 handlers list and has judged numerous field trials in both the U.S. and Canada including the Cocker National Open Championship, the English Springer National Open Championship, and the Canadian National Championship. He has won the Springer National Open Championship as well as twice winning the Hogan Award for top Springer Field Trial Handler. He works with many amateur dog trainers and enjoys showing them his fun, upbeat training methods.
His first love, though, is hunting the woods of Wisconsin and the prairies of the Dakotas with his flushing dogs. In the fall you can find him and his dogs always walking toward the horizon to get one more flush.
